There she is working as a project coordinator for a new permanent exhibiton, and a focus is to make this accessible to visually impaired and blind people. In addition, it is to visualize the historical layers of the Citadel for the visitors. New Dutch Waterline, The Nederlands

New Dutch Waterline
Peter Ros
Project manager of the New Dutch Waterline
Since 2006 he is working as an EU manager for National Project New Dutch Waterline.
He is responsible for developing EU projects for financing and knowledge in the area of cultural heritage, economy, landscape development and tourism. Specialist in EU funding programmes. Other projects are: creating a network for entrepreneurs, developing IT Tools and organising a future management model for the New Dutch Waterline landscape park.
Formerly he worked as a secretary at the Managing Office for the European Rural Development Programme in the Netherlands  responsible for making EAFRD programme of the Netherlands for the period 2007-2014.  A lot of these funds are used to restore fortresses of the New Dutch Waterline. As a policy advisor on economic affairs at the province of Northern Holland between 1999 and 2004 one of his activities was to organise employment projects on fortresses. People with little or no prior job experience can participate in maintenance and repair of the "Defence Line of Amsterdam". This is a series of forts/defence constructions dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. This very special and highly successful project offers participants a chance to prepare themselves for a regular job or further professional training.
New Dutch Waterline
Marieke Muilwijk
architect, consultant
Since 2006 she is working as an independent expert for the National Project New Dutch Waterline and many other authorities and research institutes.
In 2006 her involvement with the New Dutch Waterline started with an survey on ‘Defence Systems in Europe: examples of re-use’. The contact with some At Fort partners has been initiated with this overview. http://mla.nu/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Defence-Systems-2006.pdf

As an independent consultant with elaborate knowledge of landscape, cultural history, social and economic development and knowledge management she works on various projects. The added value of (historical) landscape knowledge in spatial development projects is a reoccurring theme. Projects vary from EU nature legislation in relation to adaptive re-use of heritage, sustainable energylandscapes and the added value of volunteers in landscape maintenance. Currently she is the secretary of the Qualityteam of the New Dutch Waterline and responsible for the implementation of proper spatial legislation. For the At Fort project she has worked on the initial application, organised the Launch Event and is coordinator of the theme enabling conditions.
Before starting her own consultancy in 2006, she has worked at Wageningen University and the Land Development Service (Dienst Landelijk Gebied).
